When a lifelong dream finally becomes true
My Rockstar DreamLife
Through my entire life, Iāve wanted to be a rockstar. A musician, singer/songwriter.
When I was little, we lived in Chicago, and we were members of the kind of church you see in the movies. Happy people who were up dancing and singing along with a big choir and a front singer. Sunday was always a party.
At some point, they started putting me on stage, and I sang all the happy childrenās songs about how to be Godās sunshine. Iāve heard recordings, and much to my surprise, they are good!
Then we moved to Norway.
The church here wasnāt like that, and in the end my mom refused to take us there. She was all for a happy belief, and felt that this wasnāt it. So no more church, no more singing, no more stage. My dream wasnāt dead, though, and very soon I was singing in the childrenās choir at school. Then in a teen choir, before I taught myself to play the guitar, and practised singing like Freddie Mercury. (Yes, I am aware that he is a guy, and I didnāt have a chance, but that wasnāt going to stop me!)
Then everything came to a grinding hault
Iām not writing about why in this article. Iām here to share the joy with you. Look out for a future article where I share my trauma, and how I fixed it.
It dawned on me, though, at the beginning of February, that Iāve written several hundred lyrics and texts that can easily be turned into song lyrics. Iāve played the clarinet, and was quite talented at in, taking center stage in the band, and stuck to it for 30 years! I realized that Iāve been a musician my entire life. I just never thought about it that way. Howeverā¦.
Today is the day I am sharing my
YouTube channel with you.
Because I finally figured out that I have a talent for writing lyrics, singing them, arranging the music through AI-tools with quality prompts, and mastering them myself in a DAW Studio before publishing.
Most of my music on that channel is rock, country and ballades. They usually have a weird twist, a deeper meaning, they can be true, real, or metaphorical and drawing images in your mind through text and music. Some of them have a rough edge. Most of them are about Feminine Empowerment.
My weirdest stuff will be shared with you HERE on Substack, my people who GET it! So Iāll be sharing a few of my songs here. But most of my songs will be on my YouTube Channel.
Iām also at the verge of getting them published to spotify. Thatās a little longer process, but Iām working on it.
I would appreciate it big time if you Subscribed to my YouTube channel.
Itās free, you just need a Google account or make one, which is also free.
But it would mean SO much to me š Thank you ā¤ļø

You are amazing, my friend. So delighted for you and, of course, I already subscribe to your YouTube channel :)
You are so good!
